Six Days Later and Another Post...

I'm posting again and in a short time period. Burn!! Well, this Friday will be our 3 week anniversary. By we I mean Tyler and I. He let me borrow the HitchHiker book by Douglas Adams or whatever his name is. I've only read to page 170 or so, but it's already freakin' hilarious. Hmmm.... Meaghan and I wrote James a really pretty picture today during lunch ( F.Y.I. I sit with Kelsey,Kelcie ,Meaghan,and Macy during lunch.) This drawing is in response to his drawing. We have now drawn him two stick figure pictures. Thw first one was of him getting attacked by scary flag girls. Don't worry, I didn't expect you to get it. It's an inside saxophone section thing.

And Thirteen days later you get an update...

See! I said I wouldn't abandon you for too long. "Well, we only have two more football games until marching season is over which means I'll go back to being bored all the time." Is something I would have said last year. Now, that I'm in Highschool that is only a little bit true. Yes, I'll miss getting to march , but I'll have all of my friends to keep me busy. So Ha!! I know. I'll still be bored. I can't help but try and console myself.
Today is the tenth day that I have been going out with Tyler. Which I forgot to post about. Tyler is in band too and is a sophomore. All of the people out there that are against intersection relationships can just get over it!! :D
James, our section leader, drew us a really nice picture that shows him shooting "you" . I guess he meant that "you" was us. I thought it was an over all confusing picture. *nods*
I doubt that anyone reading this really cares about my intersection relationship, but then again I have a feeling that I'm the only one that reads it. So everyone who reads it does care! How sweet of you. Lol
Well, I updated in less that a month of my last update. It must be record.

An All New Setup

I have once again decided to grace all of the readers who so avidly enjoy my blog *coughs* me *coughs* with me wonderous personage. :D I haven't been updating and a lot has been going on. This is mostly due to the fact that I'm a loser who needs to learn how to post regularly, but it is also partly due to band which so totally rocks. Mostly the loser part. I am now a more mature and intellectual being. Yep, that's right. I'm a Freshman in HighSchool. A.K.A. Door Mat.
Hey, at least I'm one more step closer to maturity. In your face!! Anyhow, I'm going to rearrange some stuff and rename some stuff and redo some stuff. If anyone has any advice on how to do cool stuff on Blogs then please feel free to help me figure out what in the world I'm doing. Oh and do forgive me for the over usage of the word "Stuff".
Alright, let me take a moment to paraphrase update you on what's going on. I'm in the second week of the second six weeks of school. Which means all new friends and classes. My absolute favorite class is band. Take a moment to notice the new blog title if you need any convincing. I don't really see any of my friends from DCS ( my old elementary school) anymore.
I play alto sax still. Something that will only change if I have a horrible accident and sufer brain trauma that causes me to be suicidal and kill myself. I still have strnge obcessions with stupid stuff ( so says some of my friends * Cassie*) I'm sure someone out there thinks Phantom of the Opera and Alan Rickman are the best ever. Right? That's what I thought. So, I just thoughht I'd invite you to share in my soon to be improved blog.
Farewell!!

Harry Potter

Sooo........I went and got the Harry Potter book and read it. It is so totally upsetting and I can't tell you why because that would ruin the book... Here let me try without saying any names. A supposedly good guy that veryone thinks is bad kills the all time good guy and now everyone is going to thinnk the now supposedly bad guy is evil and I don't think he is... I figured it all out and my friend Casie agrees with me. Plus the Bad guy( who isn't really bad) is my favorite character... Anyhow only 3 days 'till ban camp starts and regular school doesn't start unil August 11th. I'll strt updating again regularly when school start up again.

Summer

Well, I haven't posted forever and an age. I'll probably wait another month before I post again. :D Nothing much has changed here.
It is now several weeks into my summer vacation. Which means that I'm bored out of my mind. My average day is spent rereading fanfiction and listening to my Phantom of the Opera sound track. Over , and over, and over, and over.....over.....and over again. I went to see the movie Madagascar with my friend Cassie. It was a pretty good movie, but I really didn't see much of it because one of my other friends( brook) kept looking over at this couple that was making out and then she would go into hysterical fits of laughter. So that made Cassie tell her to shut-up. This pretty much made up the most of our visit. Anyway, Phantom of the opera is like the greatest movie ever. Although I wish that the phantom had gotten the girl. *sighs* Why can't the deprived characters ever win. So he killed a few people. It isn't like they didn't deserve it. :D
I've read mostly fanfic over th summer, but have also read the last book in Artemis Fowl series, Jerlayne, and have reread about eery book that I own. all this while avaoiding my family that thinks reading is a sign that I have nothing better to do and they should give me something to do. * scowls* Horrible unappreciative peopl. hat would we ever do without books?!
Oh Well, I have to go. I have a time limit set on my computer and have to go in about 3 min. Tootles!!!!!***

Bored

What are some sure signs that you are bored? You are looking at your daily horoscope. You are counting the number of buttons on your shirt. You are trying to figure out how the crap the lighbulb was created. You are highlighting your dog's hair. You are doing homework. You are writing /reading on a blog. : D

Six Days

Only six days until the Washington trip!! I'm taking a break from trying to figure out what I am going to bring with me. Mom says that she isn't going to bring me to Chatt. so I can't get a bunch of crap that I was wanting to bring. Like some Night Before Christmas PJ's. Everyone needs red and black night clothes. But no, she feels a need to deprive me of important junk. I was going to get book number three of the Noble Dead series, but since we're not going to Chatt...................... What am I going to do during the 12 hour drive up there and the twelve hour drive back? I'm going to sit there and wonder why I chose to come when I could have been at home reading a newly bought book. Anyhow, I'll figure out a way to get it before Friday. I'll break my arm or something so I can go to the Doctors. Which is right by Books-A- Million. See, I want have to sit there wondering what the crap I'm doing!! I should be doing my report which only has to be 500 words long, but can only have 1 web site in it's reference. Oh Well, Tootles!!

The Trip

'Sup, to take a good introduction from Charles Dickens: " It was the best of times. It was the worst of times" Actually I've never read The Tale of Two Cities. I tried to read it last year, but was bored out of my mind and didn't understand what the heck was going on. I have since read quite a few books on the French Revolution and have also studied it in History class. So I'm thinking about trying it again. Anyhow, I got the list of people that are going to be on my bus today. Just in case someone is wondering " What bus?" I'm referring to the bus that I will be riding to Washington D.C. I get to be with my best friend Kelcie, but Holly has been put on bus 1 where as I'm on bus 3........* sobs* I have to entertain people with decent conversation for about twelve hours. If Holly was on the bus I wouldn't have to stick to decent. What about the chaperones and other adults? You say. Well, Holly and I have our own little gestures that no one understands ( except a few of them that are beyond obvious understanding) , but no I'm all alone!! Although I do have Kelcie : D She is the coolest. We were in second period today ( Algebra class) and we were talking about which bus we were going to be on. I said something about thank goodness our transport wasn't inhabited by the horrific breed of creatures also known as our teachers. ( OK, that's not exactly what I said, but it sounds better that way. Don't you think?) I whispered because we sit right in front of the teacher's desk, but she had to go and start yelling " Alright! Thank gosh Griswold, the Algebra teacher, isn't on our bus.* sighs* No wonder I got an eighty eight this six weeks. Matthew is also on our bus, but I can't sit with him it has to be two girls or boys to a seat. I'm going to go watch Resident Evil now. It is such a cool movie!! So many people to annihilate so little time to do it in. Tootles!!

http://www.nobledead.com/

Hi all, I haven't posted in a while. I've been busy doing nothing. You'd be amazed at how time consuming doing nothing is . I just finished reading Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte ( or is it Emily) I have also read wuthering heights this week. Jane Eyre was more......... Joyful? Both of them were very good , but I thought Wuthering Heights was a bit hard to follow. I think I'll read Jane Eyre again it was really good. I haven't made it to Chattanooga to buy the next Noble Dead book yet( argh) , but hope to soon. Just a few more days until the Eighth grade gets to go to Washington D.C. for five days. I get to spend a whole.... Freakin.... Week with all of them. * cries* Why?! Not that I dislike any of them, but there is only so much that you can stand. Plus Griswold ( A.K.A. The teacher whose class I got a B in) is going so that will make the trip ever so ... What's another word for crappy? Well, whatever the word you were thinking put it there. Now, I'm done complaining about the school people...... ( for the moment :D) I haven't seen my little Cuz's for a while so my life has been desolate and lonely. No one to bake sugar cookies for. I think I'll bake some anyway and feed them to strange children I see walking down the street. Haha, Like anyone is ever on our " Street" They'll get hit by a roaming cow or something. I wore a green sweater last week to shun the idea that I'm a Goth and decided that I'd rather be a Goth than wear green. It's really not my color. Any plans I have for world domination have been futile. Though the cafeteria workers have progressed very far in their attempts. Today they feed us green eggs and ham......... Died green eggs..... That you could use as a substitute for a rubber ball. * winces* Yum. Band is fun. Hannah challenged me last week, but has a cold this week so we're putting it off for while. II hope I win, but she is really good. She'll make a good first chair....... Next Year!!!!! Anyhow, in all of my business of doing nothing my room has become the refuge for several piles of clutter under which I think I saw something resembling a large species of dust Cows . No, I'm not mistaken. It was not your so called friendly bunnies. I must leave, but I have remembered to put up the site to the Noble Dead thingy. Tootles!! http://www.nobledead.com/

Goth

Someone asked me if I was gothic today. I answered that I wasn't exactly gothic because mom threatened to beat the crap out of me if I didn't stop with the morbid clothes. So I do occasionaly wear bright colors. THere isn't anything wrong with black and red. Oh well, Tootles!!

Books and Movies

Hi Ya'll,
I have finished reading Theif of Lives the second book in the noble dead series ( the first one was Dhampir ) and It was so totally the coolest book ever. OK, describing a book with " so totally' is a bit stupid sounding.... So, the book( Dhampir) is about Magiere a half vamp/half human who finds out what she really is and what she's made for..... Vampire Slaying!!! Along with her half Elven friend Leesil and their Maja-Hi ( Fay Hound) they ....... Not telling the rest. :D You'll just have to read it. Anyhow, I bought UnderWorld , the movie , and it was really ( What's another word for cool?) Awesome( Not much better than cool. I'll have to get back to you with some better vocabuary later.) It was another vampire/ werewolf move. Of Course. Starring Kate Beckinsale.

(On to another subject) Student Council, or is it Counsel?, decided to do a dance thingy. A late V- day WEstern themed dance thingy. Blach! I don't like western themes or dances, but was in fulll suport of exercising our right to have a corny themed dance. HOlly and I wanted the theme to be pirates or a sock hop, but the cheerleaders let us know that skirts weren't allowed at the party. THere's a reason. THink about it, but if anybody was going to do something what would a skirt matter? Anyhow, we said no sixth graders or boyfriend/girlfriends , which I thought depleted the whole reason for having a dance, and we brought the idea to the principal who immediately said no..... Hoow dare he !!! Oh Wll, It isn't if it's some great loss. I'll pos ta link to the Noble Dead web site later. Tootles!!

Driving On His Own

Me and my Bro just got back from the Movies Rent place thingy. "So what" Says you . Well, this is the first time it has only been me and Kalen going somewhere. Avoiding th fact that we only were gone about 20 minutes. We rented the moveies SkyCaptain and the World of Tomorrow and I Robot. Not that is important. Just thought I'd mention it. I was covered in mud and stuff (because I'd been riding my horrse and playing at the barn) so I just ran in there with him, grabbed two movies and left. :D Well, my first chair victory was sorta short lived. Hannah , the second chair, has infromed me that she plans to challengs me and take my chair. * screams* I don't know if I can take all this practicing. Get home practice, get up practice. DoI eat ? No!! Too busy practicing. Anyhow, I have aquired a few new /old books. The Cantebury Tales, Paradise Lost, The Pellop.. wait a second. gtg check the spelling on that. The Peloponnesian War by. Thucydides. No last name just Thucydides. Apparently people used very strange names in order to keep from having to have last ones at the time that this book was written. Wuthering Heights by, Emily Bronte and... a book about Martin Luther( the saint dude, not the King Jr. one) . I haven't done anything interesting of late. SO I guess I'll post later. Tootles!!

The Highwayman by. Alfred Noyes

The Highwayman By. Alfred Noyes

Part One
I
The wind was a torrent of darkness among the gusty trees,
The moon was a ghostly galleon tossed upon cloudy seas,
The road was a ribbon of moonlight, over the purple moor,
And the highwayman came riding- Riding-riding-
The highwayman came riding, up to the old inn-door.
II

He'd a French cocked-hat on his forehead, a bunch of lace at his chin,
A coat of the claret velvet, and breeches of brown doe-skin;
They fitted with never a wrinkle: his boots were up to the thigh!
And he rode with a jewelled twinkle,
His pistol butts a-twinkle,
His rapier hilt a-twinkle, under the jewelled sky.
III

Over the cobbles he clattered and clashed in the dark inn-yard,
And he tapped with his whip on the shutters, but all was locked and barred;
He whistled a tune to the window, and who should be waiting there
But the landlord's black-eyed daughter,
Bess, the landlord's daughter,
Plaiting a dark red love-knot into her long black hair.
IV

And dark in the old inn-yard a stable-wicket creaked,
Where Tim the hostler listened; his face was white and peaked;
His eyes were hollows of madness, his hair like mouldy hay,
But he loved the landlord's daughter,
The landlord's red-lipped daughter,
Dumb as a dog he listened, and he heard the robber say-
V

"One kiss, my bonny sweetheart, I'm after a prize to-night,
But I shall be back with the yellow gold before the morning light;
Yet, if they press me sharply, and harry me through the day,
Then look for me by moonlight,
Watch for me by moonlight,
I'll come to thee by moonlight, though hell should bar the way."
VI

He rose upright in the stirrups; he scarce could reach her hand,
But she loosened her hair i' the casement! His face burnt like a brand
As the black cascade of perfume came tumbling over his breast;
And he kissed its waves in the moonlight,
(Oh, sweet black waves in the moonlight!)
Then he tugged at his rein in the moonlight, and galloped away to the West.

Part Two
I
He did not come in the dawning; he did not come at noon;
And out o' the tawny sunset, before the rise o' the moon,
When the road was a gipsy's ribbon, looping the purple moor,
A red-coat troop came marching-
Marching-marching-
King George's men came marching, up to the old inn-door.
II

They said no word to the landlord, they drank his ale instead,
But they gagged his daughter and bound her to the foot of her narrow bed;
Two of them knelt at her casement, with muskets at their side!
There was death at every window;
And hell at one dark window;
For Bess could see, through the casement, the road that he would ride.
III

They had tied her up to attention, with many a sniggering jest;
They bound a musket beside her, with the barrel beneath her breast!
"Now keep good watch!" and they kissed her.
She heard the dead man say-
Look for me by moonlight;
Watch for me by moonlight;
I'll come to thee by moonlight, though hell should bar the way!
IV

She twisted her hands behind her; but all the knots held good!
She writhed her hands till here fingers were wet with sweat or blood!
They stretched and strained in the darkness,
and the hours crawled by like years,
Till, now, on the stroke of midnight,
Cold, on the stroke of midnight,
The tip of one finger touched it! The trigger at least was hers!
V

The tip of one finger touched it; she strove no more for the rest!
Up, she stood up to attention, with the barrel beneath her breast,
She would not risk their hearing; she would not strive again;
For the road lay bare in the moonlight;
Blank and bare in the moonlight;
And the blood of her veins in the moonlight throbbed to her love's refrain.
VI T

lot-tlot; tlot-tlot! Had they heard it?
The horse-hoofs ringing clear;
Tlot-tlot, tlot-tlot, in the distance?
Were they deaf that they didnot hear?
Down the ribbon of moonlight, over the brow of the hill,
The highwayman came riding,
Riding, riding!
The red-coats looked to their priming! She stood up strait and still!
VII

Tlot-tlot, in the frosty silence!
Tlot-tlot, in the echoing night!
Nearer he came and nearer! Her face was like a light!
Her eyes grew wide for a moment; she drew one last deep breath,
Then her finger moved in the moonlight,
Her musket shattered the moonlight,
Shattered her breast in the moonlight and warned him-with her death.
VIII

He turned; he spurred to the West; he did not know who stood
Bowed, with her head o'er the musket, drenched with her own red blood!
Not till the dawn he heard it, his face grew grey to hear
How Bess, the landlord's daughter,
The landlord's black-eyed daughter,
Had watched for her love in the moonlight, and died in the darkness there. IX
Back, he spurred like a madman, shrieking a curse to the sky,
With the white road smoking behind him and his rapier brandished high!
Blood-red were his spurs i' the golden noon; wine-red was his velvet coat ,
When they shot him down on the highway,
Down like a dog on the highway,
And he lay in his blood on the highway, with a bunch of lace at his throat.
* * * * * *
X

And still of a winter's night, they say, when the wind is in the trees,
When the moon is a ghostly galleon tossed upon cloudy seas,
When the road is a ribbon of moonlight over the purple moor,
A highwayman comes riding-
Riding-riding-
A highwayman comes riding, up to the old inn-door.
XI

Over the cobbles he clatters and clangs in the dark inn-yard,
And he taps with his whip on the shutters,but all is locked and barred;
He whistles a tune to the window, and who should be waiting there
But the landlord's black-eyed daughter,
Bess, the landlord's daughter,
Plaiting a dark red love-knot into her long black hair.

First Chair !!!

Yep, I got first chair!! ( ALthough Matthew has already told you. : P ) I'm so happy. I was really worried that a seventh grader was going to take my chair, but I'm still in my spot and the world is a better place. Tootles.

Avoiding the inevitable

I'm sure that anyone reading this is tired of my constant complaining about the upcoming try outs. a.k.a. the end of my life, but I must say that I'm mortified of the outcome. I'm sure I couldn't get last chair. * blinks* What if I suck so bad that I get last chair!!! I had never actually thought about that possibility. It's not like the last chair is any better than the first chair. All the positions are important in some way.......... That's the kind of thing Mr. C , my band director, would say to the losers. * cries* I could be practicing ,but if I practice then I realize tht I suck at playing and that there is a chance that the seventh graders might end up with my chair. ( dun dun da) * sighs* Ah well, I need to stop wallowing in self pity and get a better self esteem blah blah . blah blah blah.
Anyways, I'm just sitting here with my hair in curlers doing my nails. ( yes, I'm really that bored. Although I hate saying that I'm bored. A bored person is a boring person.) Looking up cheats for my Van Helsing game. Sorta sad that I have to look up cheats for it. It's quite direct when it comes to what you have to do. I'm just lacking any kind of skills it takes to conquer a simple video game. In the game Van Helsing ( the character. I'm not just repeating the name of the game) can lose his hat and you have to pick it up before you leave. Well, he lost his hat and I didn't realize it so now it's no telling where. I really liked the hat. I'm close to the part where you have to battle Dracula ( according to cheat page ) and I don't think I would be able to kill him. How can anyone not side with Dracula? He's doing the world a favor. Yep, keeping us from over populating. *looks innocent * WHat?! O K , maybe it's not alright, but I still side with him. So ha!!
Well, I gtg take out the curlers. So many people to terrorize, So little time to do it in. : D Tootles!

Eight days 'Till I Die

O K So we had to draw a number in band to day to see what order we would try out in and I got number four. There is only five of us so I have to go close to last. This will give me just enough time to have a breakdown and try to drown myself in the water fountain. * nods* Yep, there is a 80 % chance I'm going to lose my chair and........ Why I'm I posting?!! I should be practicing. No wonder I suck. : D Hehe Anyhow, I haven't watched VAn Helsing in a whole week. * tear * I've been busy doing nothing. Is it not amazing how time consuming doing nothing can be? Did I mention that I got a bunch of black shirts for Christmas. * dances around * So now I can wear all the black and red and chain jewelry I want. * coughs* Not that I'm obsessed with the colors black and red or anything. I love other colors too. Plus I have been wearing my new pants.... NO holes!! You just can't appreciate new pants until you've wore out all of the others. Well, I must be off. Things to do. Places to vandalize.

Band

It's finally that special time of year when I realize tht I need to practice my Sax. Well, I sorta put it off a little too long and now I'm starting to fear that the seventh graders are better than me. * eerie background music* So now I'm practicing constantly trying to improve before tryouts. Anyhow, I've watched Van Helsing a couple dozen times now, and it's still the best movie ever. Tootles!!

Back to School :(

Yes, I actually made it through the first day of school after Christmas vacation. Not without Algebra homework though. I finally bought the movie Van Helsing with my Christmas money and Mom got me Van Helsing the game for ps2. Yay!!! (Of Course It's the best movie ever. ) ( Don't question it.) I must go do my math. Farewell!
