Another way to phrase it is: Welcome to being a writer. Our heads say, "Write! Write! WRITE, DAMN YOU," and our hands say, "Uhhhh..."
But DO write. Even if all that comes out is "Uhhh," or "Squibble bibble head bobble". Write the nonsense, and then eventually you'll notice it becoming less nonsensical, and then after that you'll start getting clearer ideas of where you want to go, what you want to say, and maybe even HOW you want to say it.
You just have to fall into it, even if you start with a few head bobbles.
