Dude, same thing happened to me. Except I was coerced into joining it many years ago, back when practically no one had heard of it and there weren't 20/20 episodes propounding the danger of "the myspace."
I'm not sure the appeal ever really comes unless you have friends who use myspace more than their own e-mail address (which is the reason I keep mine).
I might have to go and add you... muhahaha!
(Unless that would be way too creepy, in an internet-stalker-ish type way.)
